Position

The Hotel is located in the city centre, very close to the main beach Spiaggia Grande.

How to reach the Hotel by car or on foot:

The best drop off place is at Piazza Mulini, then go down on the pedestrian way, direction beach Spiaggia Grande, all the way to the Main church “S. Assunta”.

From there you should go left and walk along the lane for about 50 meters (do not take the steps on the right side).

We are located next to the Ceramic Shop Casola.

How to reach the Hotel from the Dock and beach area:

The hotel is located almost on the main beach of Positano and is very close to the ferry terminal.

To get to the Hotel from the dock area there are 2 flights of stairs, once you reach the Ceramic shop Casola, the hotel entrance is at the end of a typical lane on your right.

We don't have a service for luggage, but at the Dock area and at the Piazza Mulini there are the Positano Porter with Blue or Green polo T-shirt and they can bring the bags and suitcases to the hotel, it is an external service and they charge 10 euro per bag.

Parking

The Hotel does not have a car parking. 

The hotel is located in the pedestrian area, almost on the main beach of Positano, for this reason it is not possible to arrive at the hotel by car or motorbike, but there are guarded car parks within a hundred meters.

It is a service that we do not provide, but we recommend that you book in advance a place in the garage listed below, mentioning that you are staying at Hotel Villa La Tartana:

Vom Naples Flughafen Capodichino

Leaving Naples Airport turn right on the first Crossroad and take The Green Sigh Posted Salerno A3. On the Motorway proceed until The Castellammare Exit, leave the motorway and follow the Signs for Sorrento/Amalfi until you reach the Coast Road Ss163 that leads to Positano. In Positano take the first road on the right to the centre, drive down through the town until the square " Piazza dei Mulini".

Vom Positano Hafen

When you arrive at the port in Positano you should head straight up the street. The Hotel Covo Dei Saraceni will be on your left and as you reach the end of their restaurant there are some steps on your right going down towards the restaurants Chez Black and Le Tre Sorelle and the main square on the beach. When you get to the square you will see some steps going up with a statue of a lion on either side. At the top of the steps take the small street on the right. After a few steps you will see a shop, 'La Tartana' (owned by the same family that own the hotel) which sells beachwear. Take the stairs on your left and at the end of them turn right, walk along the lane in front of you for about 50 meters .The entrance of Villa La Tartana is just at the end of the lane.
